World of Warcraft - Leveling 1-70 vs The End Game by Emma Martin

Some people might tell you that life in Warcraft begins at level 70 and there are others who never bother with the End Game at all, preferring to continually master levels 1-70 in order to beat their own best times and conquer new servers. The best thing about World of Warcraft is that it is easy for all types of players to totally enjoy their game play because the world in-game is ever new and your own interests determine much of your experience of the game.

Exploring WoW - Levels 1-70

The leveling game can be a great way to test your speed skills and how quickly you can level your character or it can be very casual and laid-back. Regardless of how you play it, there's also a lot more opportunities to do exploring on your own. If you feel like running up from Southshore to Shadowfang Keep, or up to the fair in Elwynn Forest from Grom'gol, you do it just because you can. Or you can take some time out from your rush for the purples, and explore all of Azeroth's nooks and crannies - river vistas and creepy deserted towers, rare monsters, caves full of minerals and treasure chests.

Life after Level 70 - The Endgame

The endgame, in contrast, requires a lot more commitment to a group effort. A lot. If you have a family and a life, you have to go slower, moving from the 5 person to the heroic dungeons, and grinding up your reputation and professions as you go along, but if you want to raid for real, you're committed for maybe four evenings a week at five hours apiece (depends on how crazy the guild is). There's reputation to grind, money to make, PVP gear to acquire - all very time consuming. Time well spent, if you are lucky enough to have the time for hard-core raiding.

Much of level 70 is spent either staring at the inside of a bank in Shattrath city, or inside one dungeon or another ... or running back to your corpse with another 5g in repairs. Which can be very exhilarating in its way, trust me. There's nothing like the feeling of taking down that boss or finishing off that great heroic run. And don't forget the envious looks people will give you when you show back up at the bank looking so fine in your epic loot.

No matter how you get there, it will be great to be level 70, whether you plan to commit to the Endgame or start all over again on a new server at Level 1. World of Warcraft is what you make of it. So enjoy the game however you please and remember to have fun!

Whether you love the leveling game or want to get to Level 70 and the End Game as quickly as possible, a good Wow Leveling guide can increase your enjoyment level substantially. One of my favorite leveling guides is [http://www.wowplayersguides.com/world-of-war Kopp's Alliance Leveling Guide
