The tree is used to record a certain persons ancestors of more than one generation. It is up to you how far back and what is included in your personal genealogy tree. The next branches on the tree will belong to your parents. Write all of their important information just as you did yours. Make sure that you fill up all their vital statistics and that of close relatives. Work upwards by including your grandparents, as well as your great grandparents. Don't forget to include any dates of death and burial places. Ask family members what they know about their respective parents or grandparents.
You can create your family tree in one afternoon it doesn't have to take years, cost thousands of dollars or trace your roots back to the Egyptians. The most important thing is to get started and you can add to it as you go. You can include personal stories and special memories from each person or generation. Remember to include special things like news events and service in the armed forces.
